Microscopic Fungi in Big Cities: Biodiversity, Source, and Relation to Pollution by Potentially Toxic Metals

چکیده
For the first time, a mycological analysis of outdoor urban environment (air, leaves, sealed surfaces) was carried in cities subarctic (Murmansk) and temperate (Moscow) climatic zones. The chemical composition dust deposited on leaves dominant tree species taken as an indicator air quality. Assessment complex impact factors (climate zone, type substrate, anthropogenic load) quantitative qualitative parameters mycobiome performed. Compared to Moscow, Murmansk characterized by increased number concentrations pollutants dust. culturable airborne fungi substantially lower than Moscow. Half belonged opportunistic both cities. Most dangerous were absent recreational zones but present surface road all assessed Dust affected diversity species. While relationship biological with concentration potentially toxic metals generally negative, Cd fraction study revealed importance substrate determining sensitivity pollution highlighted its characteristics sensitive climate.

The accumulation of potentially-toxic metals by grazing ruminants.
The main factors affecting the accumulation of potentially-toxic metals (PTM) by grazing animals are the presence of the metal, its concentration in herbage and at the soil surface, and the duration of exposure to the contaminated pasture and soil. In addition, the elapsed time between the contamination of the pasture and grazing, the quantity of soil ingested together with herbage, the mechani...
متن کاملDetection of potentially toxic metals by SERS using salen complexes.
Surfaced enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) can discriminate between metal complexes due to the characteristic "spectral fingerprints" obtained. As a result, SERS has the potential to develop relatively simple and sensitive methods of detecting and quantifying a range of metal ions in solution. This could be beneficial for the environmental monitoring of potentially toxic metals (PTMs). Here, sal...
متن کاملEvaluation of Potentially Toxic Elements Pollution Indices in Rangeland Northwest of Chadegan city (Isfahan Province)
Abstract Today, the pollution of Rangeland soils by various destructive pollutants has become one of the human-environmental problems. Lacking proper management of organic matter discharge can also increase the concentration of salts, heavy metals, and pathogenic microorganisms. In this study, to investigate and measure the concentration of toxic elements, 128 soil samples of Chadegan region w...

abstract this mixed method study examines whether there is any relationship among the variables of the study (job satisfaction, social capital and motivation). the researcher considered job satisfaction and social capital as independent variables; motivation is the dependent variable of the study. the researcher applied a questionnaire to assess each variable. to measure efl teachers’ job sati...
: examining l2 teachers’ corrective feedback types in relation to learners’ uptake, proficiency levels, and context types
abstract this study investigates the teachers’ correction of students’ spoken errors of linguistic forms in efl classes, aiming at (a) examining the relationship between the learners’ proficiency level and the provision of corrective feedback types, (b) exploring the extent to which teachers’ use of different corrective feedback types is related to the immediate types of context in which err...
